We’re on the lookout for a passionate and driven Business Development Executive to join our supportive sales team in Hartlepool! If you love making connections, closing deals and thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment, then this is the role for you.
The successful candidate will be the go-to-expert for our clients, consulting them on the great benefits of Johnston Fuelcards and the additional services we provide. Whether you’re generating new leads or managing an existing portfolio, your job is to understand the unique needs of each client and offer tailored solutions that drive success for both them and us!
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial sector in a professional and efficient manner whilst promoting the brand
- Forge and nurture strong relationships with both potential and existing clients, ensuring that they see the value we bring
- Respond to inbound enquiries and make outbound calls to win over new clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with confidence, turning leads into loyal customers.
- Follow up with clients, respond to feedback, and keep the conversation going.
- Accurately manage databases for mailing and billing, because details matter!
- Coordinate with networks and clients to get those fuel cards ordered and delivered smoothly.
- Exceed sales objectives and hit your KPI goals with energy and determination!
What we’re looking for from you:
- 2 years of proven success in commercial telesales - industry experience is preferred but not essential ⛽💳
- A highly motivated and driven individual, bringing energy, drive and a proactive approach to the team 📚
- Someone who loves learning and thriving on new things, being curious, capable and always up for a new challenge đź’Ş
